Can you hold a place before I apply?
Properties are typically rented on a first-come, first-served basis with a completed application and required fees. We recommend applying as soon as possible to secure a rental. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Once you have an approved application the security deposit will be due within 24 hours for us to remove the property from the market. You will bring your first month's rent on the day your lease starts and receive the keys. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
Applicants must be of legal age (18) to enter into a lease agreement. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, security deposits are refundable, provided there is no damage beyond normal wear and tear and all lease terms are met. Deductions may apply for unpaid rent, damages, or cleaning fees. -
Who needs a cosigner?
A cosigner may be required if an applicant does not meet the income, credit, or rental history requirements. Cosigners must meet the rental acceptance criteria. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
You will find the property you are interested in applying for on our website and select the ‘apply’ option on the page. Once it is completed our team will begin reviewing your application. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent payment can be made through your tenant portal which will be set up for you after your lease has been signed. You are able to make automated payments online through your tenant portal or login to pay monthly. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Check your lease agreement and contact management before getting a pet. Some properties allow pets while others may not. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
All current tenants must agree to any changes to the lease to include removal of current tenant(s). Lease agreements require all tenants to be responsible for the full lease term. If one tenant wants to stay, they will need to qualify on their own. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
You will receive notice from Renters Warehouse when your lease is coming up for renewal. You will be prompted to respond with whether or not you intend to renew. Or you can submit your notice to vacate via your tenant portal. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
All repairs due to normal wear and tear, mechanical failure, or any natural case is at the landlord's expense. However, the tenant(s) will be held responsible for damages caused by negligence or misuse. All maintenance requests should be submitted promptly through the tenant portal.
